bio
InevitableScape initially aimed to experiment the fusion of string instruments with electronic music, which ultimately led them to formalize their collaboration under the name InevitableScape. Their musical creations are characterized by a strong emphasis on improvisation and experimentation, seeking to merge traditional musical components with elements of noise and contemporary harmony.
They are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of their understanding of time and structure, resulting in an innovative sound that challenges conventional musical norms.
At its core, InevitableScape is a profound journey of exploration and introspection, aimed at revealing the most fundamental expressions of personal emotions. The project strives to find harmony in sharing one's inner self while simultaneously engaging with the outside world, all rooted in authenticity, sincerity, and clarity of expression.

Seven (2025) for amplified viola was composed by composer Phuc Nguyen and performed twice in 2025 by violist Lidia Plana, first at the Vrijthof Theater and second at the Conservatorium Maastricht. Seven is the number representing contemplation, entering the individual’s inner world, so it is used to name this narrative work. The work is a blend of moments between the inner world and the real world, where sometimes it is impossible to distinguish between inside and outside, between silence and commotion, between soundscape and monologue whispers.

Inevitable (2025) at Museum Night Maastricht (Netherlands)
Inevitable (2025) for viola and live electronics marks the debut of InevitableScape. This work, co-created by Lidia and Phuc, emerged from their initial experiments integrating viola with electronic music as a response to the recent destabilizing events in the world. It premiered at the Natural History Museum Maastricht during the Museum Night Maastricht 2025 program. In this particular context, amidst the ruins of an ancient world that no longer exists, InevitableScape wishes to create a live exhibition of their feelings about the instability of the world of 2025 as a vestige of the modern world through a 30-minute piece. Additionally, on the same day, at the Bonnefanten Museum, InevitableScape presented a free improvisational performance in collaboration with artists from the European Music Collective, who came from the US, Germany, Spain, Hong Kong, and India.
Location: Natural History Museum Maastricht, Bonnefanten Museum (Maastricht, Netherlands)
